Morgenster Estate Lourens River Valley Red 2019
Deep ruby with garnet edges. Polished nose of blackcurrant, dark plum, mulberry and graphite with savoury hints of cedar, dried herbs and sweet pipe tobacco. Medium- to full-bodied with refined, fine-grained tannins, a juicy mid-palate and a long, structured finish carrying Bordeaux-style restraint and Cape sunshine in equal measure. Drinks beautifully with grilled lamb, slow-roast beef or aged hard cheeses.
Kaapzicht Bottelary Hills Estate Blend 2022
Deep, opaque purple-black. Layered nose of cassis, dark plum, mulberry and cedar with savoury notes of crushed herbs, graphite and a whisper of vanilla and cocoa from the barrel. Full-bodied with grippy, fine-grained tannins, a generous core of dark berry fruit and a long, mineral-led finish. Built for the long haul — equally at home with venison, slow-roast lamb or a mature cheeseboard.

Yarra Yering Dry Red No. 1 2019
Yarra Yering Dry Red No. 1 2019
Fruit power is the hallmark of this blend, dark berry fruits and some sage adding a background herbal lift. Christmas cake mixed spice and a whisper of oak; all in balance. Beautiful fruit, a bright acid drive and tannins that form a solid foundation for a long future. Brooding but not intimidating, always exciting to watch evolve.
Varietals: 67% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot, 12% Malbec, 6% Petit Verdot
