Paul Cluver Village Pinot Noir 2024
Kershaw Wines GPS Series Pinot Noir 2020
Pretty rose petal, red cherry and orange blossom are emphasised by the brightness of aroma. The ripe, fleshy fruit rounds out the mid-palate and the plush texture gives density to the overall structure of this mid-bodied wine. The juicy acidity with cherry skin and crushed velvet tannins are balanced with a presence and depth of fruit. Flavours include dark cherry, red cherry pie crust, clove spice and wild strawberry. All this is capped by a saline undertone that leads to a tapered finish.
The wine rested in barrel for eleven months. A small number of artisanal coopers were selected, all from Burgundy and only French oak was chosen. Importantly, each clone and soil type was micro vinified as separate batches. In 2019 21.8% new oak; 76.1% 228 l and 23.9% 500 l.
Cuvée Cinéma Pinot Noir 2025
Cuvée Cinéma Pinot Noir 2024 has customary notes of rose, wild strawberry, orange rind, raspberry and sweet spice show early, before a pomegranate quality rises in intensity and depth. The palate reiterates those bright red fruit notes, cut into by the umami of oyster shell and soy. The tannins have a black tea quality, fine and integrated but wonderfully dry. Coiled and taut, this is a vintage that is poised to deliver further pleasures over time.
Tesselaarsdal Pinot Noir 2024
Beyerskloof Traildust Cape Blend 2022
The Traildust is a crafty blend of grapes created for serving chilled during the Summer seasons. The Pinotage, Cinsault and Pinot Noir provide for a generous amount of red fruit, cherries, and plum. A well-balanced wine with a juicy middle, so well-rounded tannins, and a sweet fruit finish. This wine is best served chilled (14°C) and combines well with Moroccan lamb and Thai curries.
Grapes were picked at optimum ripeness. Made in open fermenters, on the skins for 4-6 days at an average temp. of 26°C. Punching of the cap was done every 2 hours to extract good colour and flavours from the grapes. Aer malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks, the wine aged in third-fill French oak barrels for 12 months.
Crystallum Mabalel Pinot Noir 2025
Crystallum Mabalel Pinot Noir 2024
Red plum, cranberry and a flinty, pleasantly reductive note lead a nose that is full of ripe red fruits, the savoury edge of tomato leaf and spice from star anise and nutmeg. The palate is compact, generous and fruit forward, supported by cocoa nibs and a wonderfully sappy tannin structure that elongates the finish.

Shannon Vineyards Rockview Ridge Pinot Noir 2021
Cool-climate Pinot Noir grapes are harvested from up to a dozen blocks, each with different soil types and planted with specific Dijon clones. Some parcels are wild fermented and maturation is in French oak barriques for 10 months prior to blending. The wine shows both power and elegance; flavours of raspberry, strawberry, currant and cherry; the finish is long, with savoury notes, spice and richness.
Elegant, savoury, berry-fruit flavours that are excellent with game, wild mushrooms and rich chicken and beef dishes.

Crystallum Peter Max Pinot Noir 2024
A concentrated and complex vintage with damson, cherry and wild strawberry aromatics complemented by cocoa nibs and a subtle earthiness. The palate opens with fresh and lively rhubarb and cranberry notes before the sumptuous flavours of dark chocolate and maraschino cherry. Grippy tannins provide a long, dry finish.
Iona Pinot Noir 2023
The 2023 Elgin Highlands Pinot Noir is perfumed with a floral nose of rose petals, black and red cherries, strawberries and underlying spice notes. The palate is textured, succulent and complex, with a long savoury finish. Vibrant acidity and fine grained chalky tannins make this a powerful and exceptional age worthy wine. This is classic, focussed Pinot Noir.
Accolades
“An incredibly pure and perfumed aromatics greet you with a fragrant embrace, showing lifted notes of cranberry and bramble berries, cracked red peppercorns, wild strawberry and red currant fruits. Wonderfully delicate and intricate on the palate, the purity and precision of fruit is once again front and foremost in the mind with a pithy bramble berry spice, silky black raspberry and cherry fruits before stony, mineral, fine-grained tannins coat the palate. The mouthfeel and textural harmony on the wine are next level, enlivened by bright tangy acids and a long, mouthwatering, juicy fruited finish with just the faintest of savoury, earthy nuances. A wine that tastes slightly riper than previous vintages but also more complete in many ways. Very classy indeed. Drink now to 2030+.”

The Meerlust Pinot Noir 2023 from Stellenbosch shows a vibrant garnet colour with a youthful appearance. On the nose the wine shows pronounced lifted floral perfume with a brooding and seductive red berry fruit, earthy, wild mushrooms, and hints of spice. On the palate there are very pure Pinot fruit flavours on entry with red cherry and musk flavours coupled with fresh acidity. The wine has layered complexity with great elegance and finesse. Fine lacy, almost powdery tannin on the finish.
