Laurens Campher Blended White 2022
Laurens Campher Blended White is a uniquely South African white blend is made in Campher’s honour, combining predominantly Chenin Blanc (54%) with smaller amounts of Sauvignon Blanc (30%), Verdehlo (12%), and Viognier (4%).
The wine is complex and intense, ranging from bright lemon, fresh pineapple, apricots and juicy nectarine to more concentrated lime marmalade as well as caramel and cream (from barrel fermentation and 11 months of maturation in mostly older French oak). On the palate the initial impression is floral (heady honeysuckle) finishing with white peaches and apricots, with hints of citrus and a fresh acidity - great persistence promising enjoyment over at least five years.
Grattamacco Bolgheri Superiore 2019
Grattamacco Bolgheri Superiore 2019
A heady perfume of meaty red fruit and spice rises from the glass on the bouquet. Rich and mouth-filling on the palate, a real vino di piacere with ripe red and black, spicy fruit vying for attention, brought together by rapier-like acidity and meltingly fine tannins. This delicious Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Sangiovese blend from Bolgheri is not trying to be Sassicaia nor Ornellaia; it’s very much its own wine, more akin to Tignanello, but different again from the wine from Chianti Classico. It’s a delightful wine—delicious now but capable of up to a decade’s cellaring.

Old Road Wine Co. GRAND-MÈRE Semillon 2017
The wine is elegant and refined, with opulent pear, kumquat and citrus peel flavours, sweet exotic spice and a texured mouth-feel. The flavours evolve and persist from the entry onto the palate, with layers of succulent tropical fruit and candied citrus flavours unfolding. The well-defined fruit is balanced by mouth watering acidity and a lingering minerality on the finish.
Gabriëlskloof Syrah on Sandstone Bot River 2018
The Gabriëlskloof `Syrah on Sandstone` Bot River 2018
From vines that are reaching a good level of maturity, this is a really impressive Syrah from Peter-Allan. Lavender and liquorice, and blackberry fruit mark out a wine that balances the warmth of the site and delicate winemaking.

Feudo Maccari Olli Grillo Sicilia DOC 2022
Feudo Maccari Olli Grillo Sicilia DOC 2022 is an exceptional and unusually fine example of one of Italy's most underrated white varieties. Fresh and lightly floral on the nose with savoury, nutty notes. The palate is complex with crisp citrus flavours, ripe stone fruit, and tropical characters on the textured mid-palate. A subtle and multi-layered wine with immediately appealing freshness and fruit leading to a taut, savoury, mineral finish.
Fantastic with grilled white meats, risotto and pasta.
Located in Noto on Italy’s south-eastern tip near the town of Avola, Feudo Maccari was acquired by Antonio Moretti Cuseri - who also owns the Tuscan Tenuta Sette Ponti estate - and his daughter Monica in 2000. This region has extremely fertile volcanic soils, as indicated by the abundant lemon and olive groves, carob trees and flowering almonds.
Araldica Valle Vento Gavi 2024
Valle Vento Gavi del Comune di Tassarolo 2024 has gentle stone fruit and lemon aromas. Citrus, honeysuckle and mineral notes come to the fore on the palate with a long zingy finish.

Ordinal Piquepoul Roussanne 2021
Ordinal Piquepoul Roussanne 2021 is a wine of Intensity & freshness. Nose of white flowers lifted by a bright lively acidity give a wonderfully refreshing, almost thirst quenching summer white wine
A wine from the heart of the Languedoc, just next to Pezenas. Our winemaking team were tasked with coming up with a southern French fresh summer white, with a difference. Something a little unusual. They came back with a “fifty/fifty” blend of Piquepoul and Roussanne. The lightness and freshness of the Piquepoul combined wonderfully with the complexity of The Roussanne.
Fermented in stainless steel and low temperatures for freshness. The wine is then aged for 6 months on fine lees for complexity and texture..
DeMorgenzon Reserve Chenin Blanc 2023
DeMorgenzon Chenin Blanc 2023
On the nose, the wine opens with aromas of ripe peach and apricot with a fragrant floral undertone. This is layered with subtle notes of toasted almond and a hint of vanilla. The palate is generous with the creamy texture working beautifully with the vibrant acidity. Layers of pear, honeyed citrus, and Golden Delicious apple. The oak influence is evident but impeccably integrated, offering nuances of nutmeg and a hint of flint and smokiness that adds depth and dimension to the wine. The finish is long and lingering, leaving a lasting impression of well-balanced richness and finesse.

Kistler Sonoma Mountain Chardonnay 2019
Kistler Sonoma Mountain Chardonnay 2019
Fresh, floral and translucent, the 2019 is off the charts gorgeous. Dry-farmed Chardonnay is so special here. Deceptive in its mid-weight feel, the 2019 is wonderfully elegant and so precise. White flowers, crushed rocks, sage, mint and chalk lend a striking top register to this chiseled, pristine mountain Chardonnay.
DuMOL Flax Estate Vineyard Russian River Valley 2019
DuMOL Estate Chardonnay 2016
DuMOL Estate Chardonnay 2016
“The 2016 Chardonnay Estate Vineyard is rich and creamy, with a hint of reduction that adds an intriguing upper register of freshness. Orchard fruit, mint, white pepper and chalk are nicely woven throughout. The Estate is a wonderfully complete Chardonnay from DuMol that will drink well for many years to come. Drinking window: 2019-2026. 95 points
Andy Smith and his team turned out a brilliant set of wines in 2017. The harvest was especially condensed, with most days seeing heavy picks of both Pinot Noir and Chardonnay pretty much concurrently. Smith told me the DuMOL parcels were affected by a high incidence of shot berries, which naturally lowered yields. Small berries, often with no seeds, further resulted in a collection of dense wines. Smith told me low alcohol conversions resulted in wines with a bit lower alcohol than is typical. That is fascinating, as the wines are quite rich in feel. The bottled 2016s are just as compelling from bottle as they were last year from barrel.”
